Obama’s former aide Samantha Power (Harvard – Kennedy School) who is best-known for her “Hillary is a monster” gaffe, is milking her celebrity status back in Ireland with an engagement in Galway University this week. Having caused untold damage to the Dems, she can’t resist the lure of the spotlight! Obama did teh right thing in kicking her out, but is it too late? The divisions between the Dem candidates is probably what will cost them the election and Harvard’s Ms Power can claim no small part in that.
“Untold damage?” Because of one word by an advisor? Really? Maybe if you (and the Republicans and the MSM) say it enough it will be true.
I’m not defending Obama here, but his speech above is all about not focusing on little, insignificant “gotcha” points like the Samantha Power thing. This country is in a recession with the highest inequality since 1928, one third of all Americans don’t have health insurance, food is getting too expensive for people to buy, we are occupying two countries with no end in sight, and global warming is starting to cause massive destruction. But yeah, let’s keep talking about Power, Wright, Penn, etc. etc. because that is what we need right now…
